Rob Kurz’ UP Glidden Sub

This N scale layout models the prototype UP Glidden Subdivision that runs from Kirby Yard in northeast San Antonio eastward. Block detection and prototypical signaling is in service using Digitrax BDL168 occupancy detectors and SE8C Signal Driver boards controlling scratch built H2 Searchlight and Type D signals. JMRI software is in use controlling the signal logic. 3 operators can operate the line at any given time. If it happens on the real line, it will happen on this layout. 14 steps to basement with no duck under.
