Jay Janzen’s Santa Fe Kansas Division

The Kansas Division is a free-lance depiction of the ATSF across central Kansas somewhat around 1970. The modeled portion runs from Walton westward to Dodge City through Newton and Halstead, towns of my childhood. Double deck with helix and third level staging track plan. Operated under Rule 261 with trackside signals, using JMRI operations and Panel Pro dispatcher's panel. Computerized staging using JMRI Dispatcher. Through freight and passenger trains serve Newton and Sand Creek Yard. Locals serve online industries east and west out of Newton. 13 steps to basement without a duckunder.
